Tips on generate vectors feature
Challenges in Vector Design Production
Before textile designs and motifs move into production, they often need to be converted into vector format.
However, manually converting raster images into vectors is both time-consuming and requires strong technical expertise.
Especially:
Separating colors one by one
Cleaning and organizing layers
Creating clean, print-ready files with sharp edges
are among the most time-consuming steps for designers.
When dealing with gradient, textured, or effect-heavy designs, significant detail loss may occur during vectorization.
For this reason, achieving accurate results is particularly critical for Flat Surface style designs.
Manual vectorization:
Extends trial-and-error cycles
Delays pre-production workflows
Increases the risk of incorrect color separation
AI-Powered Vector Design Creation
Our AI-powered Generate Vectors feature is designed to convert uploaded designs into clean, editable, and print-ready vector files.
With this feature:
Manual vector drawing is no longer required
Color separation and layer organization are handled automatically
Clean results suitable for production are generated
Users have full control over the number of colors used during vectorization:
Color count can be set manually
Different shades of the same color can be merged into a single color
The “Auto” option allows the AI to determine the optimal number of colors
This flexibility ensures both controlled and production-ready vector outputs.
How Generate Vectors Works
Step 1 – Upload the Design
The user uploads the design they want to convert into vector format.
For best results, flat, solid-color designs without gradients or effects are recommended.
Step 2 – Define Color Settings
The number of colors in the design is selected.
This can be set manually or left to the AI using the “Auto” option.
Step 3 – Generate the Vector File
After clicking the “Generate” button, the system converts the design into a vector file and delivers it in SVG format.
Step 4 – Edit and Use the File
When the generated SVG file is opened in Adobe Illustrator:
Each color appears on a separate layer
The file can be exported from Illustrator to PSD format
It can then be used in Photoshop with preserved layers
Note: When an SVG file is opened directly in Photoshop, layers will not be visible.
To better demonstrate how it works, example visuals are provided below.
